Besides Home Groups, which are meant to engage people in ongoing discipleship, fellowship, and ministry, HFC also offers specialized, short-term discipleship groups designed to meet specific needs within the church body.
GriefShare is a 13-week Christ-centered support group for those who are grieving the death of a spouse, child, family member, or friend. Our GriefShare group is led by caring people who have experienced grief themselves and are eager to walk alongside you on the long path through grief toward healing and hope in the gospel. GriefShare meets weekly on Tuesdays at 6:30pm, and because each session is self-contained, you may begin attending GriefShare at any point and pick up any sessions you missed in our next 13-week cycle.
At HFC, we believe that discipling men toward godly manhood and fatherhood is far too important to adopt the traditional approach to "men's ministry," which is typically limited to monthly pancake breakfasts and motivational speeches. Our men's discipleship groups consist of 3-4 men who meet weekly to study God's Word, discuss basic Christian beliefs, and develop spiritual habits that will propel them toward a fruitful walk with Christ. We keep these groups small and exclusive by design, but new men's groups may be started at any time throughout the year.
